Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Snapshot Archive. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Snapshot Archive is operated by Vitalii Holubenko, an individual entrepreneur based in Ukraine ("Operator", "we", "us", "our").
Service description
Snapshot Archive provides automated website screenshot archiving, visual change detection, timestamped storage, and alert notifications. We offer a REST API for programmatic access. Available features and usage limits vary by subscription plan.
Account registration
To use Snapshot Archive you must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and API keys
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Acceptable use
You may use Snapshot Archive only for lawful purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Capturing or archiving content in violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
Attempting to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security features
Reselling or sublicensing access to the service without our written consent
Using the service for phishing, fraud, or any other deceptive activity
Storing or processing content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes intellectual property rights
Subscription and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refund policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund with no questions asked. Beyond that window, refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. See our full Refund Policy for details.
Data and privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Archived website data you capture is private to your account and is not shared with or sold to third parties.
Intellectual property
The Snapshot Archive platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you capture and archive through the service.
Service availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We are not liable for any damages resulting from scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, outages, or service interruptions.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that captured screenshots will be pixel-perfect in all circumstances, or that change detection will catch every modification.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use of the service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
